How we write

Who writes the Peptune blog and guides, where the facts come from, and how posts are checked and kept current.

Who writes them

Lola writes and edits the Peptune blog and guides. Every post carries her name, the date it was published and the date it was last updated.

Where the facts come from

Statements about a compound come from peer-reviewed papers, indexed on PubMed, and from regulators such as Health Canada and the FDA. Each post lists its sources. We say what was studied and in what: cells, animals or people, how many, and what was measured, including when a result was small, early or not repeated. Sequences, formulas and molecular weights match the compounds page, and purity and identity come from each batch's certificate of analysis.

What we won't write

Every Peptune product is for laboratory research use only. Our posts describe published research; they never promise a result, never recommend an amount for a person or animal, and never give instructions for use outside the laboratory. Nothing we write is medical advice.

Keeping posts current

Research and regulation change. When a new study, trial result or regulatory notice affects a post, we update it and change its “Updated” date.
