Peptune

The compounds, in plain language

A peptide is a short chain of amino acids. NAD+ in this catalogue is a coenzyme, not a peptide. Each note is the molecule, the amount in the vial, and the papers that describe it. Peptune does not publish a dose, a route of administration, or an effect.

Research categories

Grouped by compound class. The name describes the molecule, not an effect.

Research blends

  • BPC-157 + TB-500

One vial holds two synthetic peptides. The label reads 10 mg of BPC-157 and 10 mg of TB-500. Those figures are the contents of this vial. BPC-157 is a pentadecapeptide, fifteen residues, sequence Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val, a fragment of a larger gastric protein sequence in the research literature. TB-500 is the name used for a synthetic fragment related to thymosin beta-4. Commercial use of that name is not uniform, so the lot certificate is the identity record for the fragment in the vial.

  • CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin

The label names two peptides in one vial: CJC-1295 at 5 mg and ipamorelin at 5 mg. CJC-1295 is a synthetic analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone. This is the form without DAC (modified GRF 1–29). Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide, described in the 1998 paper as Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2. Supplier pages sometimes describe a no-DAC analogue at 10 mg, or a different split of the two peptides. Peptune's label is 5 mg and 5 mg.

  • GLOW

GLOW is a multi-peptide research blend in one lyophilized vial. Peptune's label states 70 mg as the total contents. It does not print an internal ratio. Supplier literature that uses this blend name lists a nominal mass split of 50 mg GHK-Cu, 10 mg TB-500 and 10 mg BPC-157 (70 mg altogether). That split is the supplier's nominal formulation, not a measured assay of a Peptune lot, and it is not a molar ratio. A certificate of analysis, when one is on file, is the record for the lot in hand. A paper on one of the named peptides is not a result for the blend.

  • KLOW

KLOW is a multi-peptide research blend in one lyophilized vial. Peptune's label states 80 mg as the total contents. It does not print an internal ratio. Supplier literature that uses this blend name lists a nominal mass split of 50 mg GHK-Cu, 10 mg BPC-157, 10 mg TB-500 and 10 mg KPV, adding to 80 mg. That literature states the split is mass, not moles, and that the figures are nominal formulation values rather than a measured concentration for a given lot. KPV in that literature is the tripeptide Lys-Pro-Val, the C-terminal tripeptide of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone. A paper on one component is not a result for the blend.

Copper tripeptide

  • GHK-Cu

GHK-Cu is the copper complex of the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine. The sequence is Gly-His-Lys. The copper ion is part of the complex, which is why the name carries Cu. The vial contains 50 mg of that complex, as a lyophilized powder. The same identity is how the material is specified in laboratory catalogues: sequence, copper complex, amount, and sealed vial. Peptune does not print a purity percentage on this page.

Other single compounds

  • IGF-1 LR3

IGF-1 LR3 (Long Arg3 IGF-1) is a recombinant analogue of human insulin-like growth factor 1. Mature IGF-1 is 70 residues. LR3 is 83: a 13-residue N-terminal extension (MFPAMPLSSLFVN) is added, and arginine replaces glutamic acid at position 3 of the IGF-1 sequence. Both changes sharply reduce binding to the IGF-binding proteins, so in cell culture the analogue stays available to the IGF-1 receptor far longer than native IGF-1. That is why it is a standard supplement in serum-free media and a common comparator in IGF-1 receptor signalling work. The vial contains 1 mg. The milligrams are the contents of the vial.
